The Davis Remote Next G/3G Weather Station is designed to allow the downloading of data via the Next G/3G network. Any MS or Mac based notebook or computer with a modem can retreived data from the remote weather station easily via the Next G/3G network. Using the supplied Davis Weatherlink software you simply dial the remote stations Next G/3G modem and download the weather data on demand.
